Akiko Ueyama 
I have enjoyed the soil since I was a child. After graduating from university, I will exhibit sculptures while doing art education and restoration of Buddhist statues.I explore the Kanshitu technique, which is a sculptural technique of the Tenpyo era. I express the strength and heart that I can feel from nature through the material of lacquer.

幼少の頃から土に親しむ、大学を卒業後、美術教育や仏像の修復に携わりながら彫刻を発表する。
天平時代の彫刻技法である乾漆技法を探究し自然から感じられる力強さや心の内を漆の素材を通して表現する。
